Masuhiko, the attitude towards stuttering which you have written about is exactly the attitude that our stuttering support group focuses on. As cochairman of one of the largest National Stuttering Association support groups in the United State, I share your views entirely. Mainly, we provide a "safe place" for people to talk openly, without fear.

As part of the world "stuttering community" the Japanese Stuttering Project sounds very similar to the National Stuttering Association, here in the states.
