Please read the reply to the previous question regarding "how soon to change it."

I have seen consistent eye contact aversion during blocks with kids younger than three! This does not suggest ever stutter, but that there is an internal threshold at which the person averts. It is like they have an internal 1-10 scale of fear and once they hit a certain point (say 8 for a given child) they avert.

You will often see consisten aversion on feared words and sounds.

My last reply to the last question should clarify when I intervene.
