Tom, thank you so much for your question. I am glad you got to see us perform "You Don't Know Hurt" at the NSA closing ceremony in Baltimore. All the plays and songs we perform are written by the young people in Our Time. When I was growing up I allowed stuttering to hold me back. Often, I would not say the words I wanted to say because I was afraid of stuttering. So when I started Our Time that was one of the most important elements to the company. At Our Time, young people who stutter can say exactly what they want to say without the fear of being put down. When we work on a play, all company members do everything. They all write the play, perform the play and also have a huge say in the other elements such as costume, music, set, lights, etc. Thanks again Tom and I hope you can see one of our shows in the future. If you would like to be on our mailing list, please email your snail mail address to taro@ourtimetheatre.org thanks!
