Hi Claudia, I loved the story - it has an important message for everyone, not just those who stutter. It demonstrates that everyone is different, while also reminding us that there is always something positive on which we may focus. That's exactly how I live my life. Even if things don't work out as I would have hoped, I always search for the positive aspect and discard the negative (after I have acknowledged the latter's existence). We will always find something positive, irrespective of how unsuccessful the incident may at first appear. Throughout my life (when I had problems with my speech) I focused on the problems that I encountered. This fuelled and sustained my stutter. Today, I refuse to dwell upon anything negative, thus starving my sub-conscious of bad memories. Thank you for sharing the 'Cracked jars' story with us. I'm sure it will be of benefit to many. Kindest regards Alan Badmington
