It was very interesting to read how International Stuttering Awareness Day (ISAD) was started. It is inspiring to read how people truly care and wanted others to be more aware and educated regarding issues concerning stuttering, and how people are affected by it. The purpose of ISAD, as stated in this paper, is admirable and seems to be really reaching and working to educate many, including people who stutter, parents of children who stutter, SLPs, and teachers. It is also amazing how people from literally all around the world get together and unite for the common purpose of making people aware of issues regarding stuttering and providing support. Also, this paper provided a good outline/calander of events including some events that occured during 2004 - Very well written paper.
