Thanks Alan for your post. We do split the TEENS and their parents during the support group and then re-integrate them at the end. It allows them an opportunity to open and then to observe their parents and other parents reactions. I wish we could get more TEENS involved. Their schedules in many respects is more complicated that ADULTS.
