By using a metaphor, a child who stutters can gain some power over stuttering by expressing a feeling and understanding it, right? This is not only tough for children but also adults sometimes too. Also, I noticed a metaphor by Harry age 4, how young of a child would be able to understand a metaphor or would you suggest using metaphors in therapy with?
