This was a well written paper which made an interesting connection between PWS who, as children, being more perfectionistic than their non -stuttering counterparts. It was also informative to read about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) being successfully used to help increase positive thoughts and beliefs about oneself for the PWS (and is positive for the non-stutterer also); and how PWS even showed a decrease in stuttering with this lessening of perfectionistic thinking b/c of CBT. How could one integrate some form of a CBT approach into a stuttering program that works mostly with adults?
