Hi Rae. Thanks for your kind words and for sharing your story. I used to think that I was the only miserable one, the only one with problems, the only one with a stutter. Later I found out there were lots of other people who stutter and that there are lots of other people with problems and worries. Wonderful to hear your mother was, and still is, there for you. Yes, I too think everything is for a reason. And as they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Or, if you can't fight them, join them. I stopped fighting my stutter and tried to make the best of it. I travel across the world giving speeches about stuttering, despite my teachers "teaching" me I was never gonna get anywhere anyway. You are a great support for the people around us. The world needs us. :-) Thanks for coming to our conference and for joining our ISAD celebration. Keep talking! Anita
