I want to start off by thanking you for sharing this activity. I am a second year graduate student and going out into the “real world” soon. Knowing these types of visual activities, is a valuable tool especially since they are concrete. I love how this activity could be adapted to other areas of speech. Thank you for the ideas in the previous posts about how to adapt the soup bowls into other areas one of which, that I liked was “ to asking “wh” questions in different ways.” Also, a great counseling tool, in regard talking about feelings and choice making. It could be individualized or even done as a group, so there could be carry-over. My question is do you think that this concept be adapted to adult clients, while not making it “childish?” If so How? Do you think that using Speech Soup will be more helpful with a particular severity of stuttering? or across all degrees?
