Do most individuals develop into covert stutters in childhood? I never thought about it much before, but now I have a client that is being more covert about stuttering and I am trying to look for ways to discuss the issue in a less emotionally-charged way. I know you said it is more appropriate for older children in your answers to other questions, but I love the analogy and would like to try something similar with my client.
