I enjoyed reading this article because it was a different therapy technique to address with people who stutter. I am a graduate student in speech-language pathology and am currently taking a fluency class, so I am able to see all the different theories and techniques used with people who stutter. Music therapy is interesting in the way that you explain it. I can see how interacting with music can help to awaken or enliven some of the areas in the brain that are not as productive, and all they need is a little push by the more active areas to get them started. I would like to know what other techniques or therapies you think would be beneficial to help people who stutter with their fluency.
