Hi! I really enjoyed reading your paper. I also share a love of music, and I actually did my undergraduate senior capstone paper on music therapy. I definitely agree that it can be useful in therapy for stuttering. I was just curious, seeing how you've done quite a bit of research, if you found any information on music therapy for clients with cleft palate. I had read that singing and playing instruments may reduce hypernasality by fostering better control of oral muscle tension and velopharyngeal opening and closing, and playing musical instruments may also lead to a decrease in nasal emissions. Have you had any experience with cleft palate, and do you agree that music therapy could be helpful to them in this way? Thanks again for the wonderful article!
