Yes, Bonnie. Thank you. I would add one idea to what you have offered. That is: Think of others. It has been said: "If you want to be happy think of others; if you want to be miserable, think of yourself" (Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, video podcast, 2008). Those of us who have had stuttering problems know how easy it is to allow our anxieties about the way people perceive us to submerge us to the extent that we limit our caring for others because of the reduced vision and energy such self-preoccupation creates. When we relate compassionately to ourselves and others, that is when we become truly happy people. Ellen-Marie Silverman
