Hi and thanks for the question. What a great question. Every child who stutters is unique. An evaluation that is multidimensional allows us to create a treatment plan that is best for that child. For school-age children, this may be an appropriate way to structure a hierarchy. If the child is having difficulty reading, or is afraid to read, both due to stuttering, this may be a helpful way to work on it.
