After reading your five step approach to therapy with people who stutter, I have a few questions regarding treatment. I have read different articles suggesting that there is a client/clinician consultation where the clinician informs the client of having little experience with stuttering therapy. Do you suggest telling our client if they are our first stuttering case? Or do you think this lowers the client’s faith and trust in us as clinicians? Thank you. I enjoyed reading your article.
