Hi Russ, Thank you for another excellent paper. Some of us are presented with far greater challenges than others. We cannot choose the cards that we are dealt in life, but it is the manner in which we play our hand that determines the quality of our existence. Fear and self-doubt figure prominently in the lives of many people – not just those who stutter. They can sabotage our hopes and aspirations. It is of prime importance that we do not adopt a victim mentality, or exclude ourselves from participating widely on life’s stage. We cannot all become world champions but we owe it to ourselves to become the best that we can and realise our maximum potential. Life is too short accept second best. When our hair turns grey, it becomes more apparent that we don’t get a second bite of the cherry.:-) We should, therefore, live life to the full and make the most of every minute of every day. I hope that your paper will encourage others to do just that. Kindest regards Alan
