One of the reasons we did the survey is that there isn't much consistent, relevant measurement of therapy outcomes. That makes it difficult for consumers to "kick the tires" when choosing a clinician. If your clinicians are using OASES, they're way ahead of the game. This survey, like the one in 2002, represents a few months of work. The survey confirms what many of us had already learned by personal experience: that attitude change is more durable than fluency skills, and that support groups reinforce speech therapy.
