Nan, thank you for this overall look at the state of affairs around stuttering. I appreciate this piece as it looks over time at where we have been and where we are headed. Reading through the thread about cost effectiveness and measurements - I think too that each client is responsible to discuss what they perceive as an outcome for their treatment. PWS I encourage you to speak up like Pam has and communicate about your desired outcome and work with the SLP in creating the plan. I wonder about what the effect would be for insurance companies/3rd party payers if clients were more clear on what the target outcome was and the plan to get there over time. Just a thought....
