Hello and thanks for the response Allison. I am unsure how people who stutter at different levels of education would view this subject. I am guessing they may possibility be somewhat similar but just not as mature in their approaches or explanations. I guess it would also depend in general how disability was spoken about in their schools, homes and cultures. I have found that some participants who did mention a little about their secondary schooling to me indicated that their stuttering was rarely if at all focused on by teaching school staff. I am guessing some may have encountered bullying through their school years but I am not looking at that. Interestingly a couple of people were very angry that their high school did not prepare them for the real world beyond when it came to educating them about how hard perhaps life could be after high school had finished due to their stuttering.
