Hello and thanks Kim. How would I go about discussing disability with another person who stutters? Hmm. I would rationally outline a commonly accepted definition and apply it to their life I guess. I think many people the world over regardless of whether the stutter or not would really appreciate and have their outlooks altered if it was presented to them in a rational and educated fashion. In no way would you try to convert them but at least show them a path that they may wish to take. Yes Kim in my studies to date many PWS are completely against the label or simply do not identify it and thus do not access any university assistance that is present. This is a sad state of affairs. Help is within their grasp and yet they either choose not to grasp it or are looking else where. I am hoping in time WE can all help to address this issue.
