Hello Katara, I agree with you that it is important to have internal consistency, too. The more practice you have, the more confident you can be in your judgments. You can also work for consistency between colleagues, by listening to and coding a sample together. Whether you code disfluencies or stuttering, these both rely on individual perceptions, and you are right, the task is not easy. I appreciate your comments. Jean Jean
