Hello! I am a graduate student at West Virginia University, and am currently taking a Stuttering course. We are learning about different treatment methods, and the Lidcombe is one that really interests me. I like the idea of using it with older children, as well as the pre-school age children. From all that I have read on the program, it seems to be a very beneficial program. I did have a question about using it with the older children at school. When this is done, is the teacher in any way involved in the judgment of the severity rating, or is it just the child’s judgment and parents’ judgment of the severity rating that is looked at by the SLP?
