I am an adult who stutters, and am not presently doing any therapy (except self-therapy, which I do all the time!) Wondering if you have tried this plan with adults in therapy. I found it very frustrating for the brief time I worked with student SLP's that the agenda was almost never shared. They had things they had to do in order to get their clinical hours or demostrate to a supervisor that they had "taught" me. Being a counselor myself and favoring a person-centered approach, I am sure I frustrated some of the students who worked with me, but having a shared plan makes sense. And to me, most of the goals should be determined by the "client" (I hate that word btw, but its better than patient). I thought your article was a great learning tool! ~Pam
