I think the most important thing you can do for a client who stutters is make it clear that you aren't there to fix them. I think the goal of therapy for people who stutter is to make stuttering a little bit easier rather than getting rid of stuttering. Our Time isn't speech therapy, rather, it is an outlet for kids who stutter to perform on stage. Our Time builds confidence; and I think that that needs to be the goal in speech therapy.
