Megan - Thank you for reading our paper and leaving comments. In my private practice, I have actually had one teen client that had such severe communication apprehension regarding stuttering and talking that he was unable to answer his SKYPE appointments, or to initiate SKYPING for his appointments. There is no doubt - at least to me - that there are some instances when TWS and their parents must have face-to-face contact for therapy. Kevin and I establish this relationship with the TWS and their parents during the required Initial 3-Day Intensive portion of our teletherapy experience.
