Sharon - There are three books I strongly recommend to both parents of CWS and professionals working with CWS that are interested in addressing communication apprehension related to the fear of stuttering, fear of talking and the fear of interacting. the books and authors are as follows: "Regression Therapy For Stuttering" by Dr. Jerome Halvorson, "VOICE UNEARTHED: Hope, Help, and a Wake-Up-Call for the Parents of Children Who Stutter" by Doreen Lenz Holte and "Communication: Apprehension, Avoidance, and Effectiveness" by Virginia Richmond and James McCroskey.
