I agree with you that it would have been beneficial for Steph's peers to see and hear the presentation. Timing did not allow for a group of girls to be available all at the same time. I think hearing her story would have helped them understand Stephanie a bit better. I have not had another student who stutters in this school since Stephanie. She did say that she would be glad to come in and share her experiences. Steph reported that she did share her experiences with another gal who stuttered when she worked with another speech therapist (at the same time she was receiving speech in the schools.) She stated that it was "weird" to listen to another person stutter. She did not share any more info. with me than that. Thanks for your comment and question. Good luck in school.
