The opportunities provide to your graduate students no doubt contribute to a higher level of comfort and competence when dealing with stuttering clinically. As a graduate student myself, my exposure to fluency and stuttering will surely help me with clinical competence as a professional. Without a course in fluency, I could easily fall into a trap of being unenthusiastic about working with stuttering.
