This was an incredible article to read as we were just talking in my Fluency Disorders class about how important as future clinicians to make people who stutter comfortable with stuttering as one of the first few steps of therapy. It sounds like a very cool idea to have teens and adults share their journey of stuttering therapy and give encouragement to other people who stutter to seek therapy and gain confidence. We had also talked about motivation of a client to seek treatment and this sounds like an excellent way of motivating. I am just curious. Was this a difficult task for the teens to share their experiences or did most of them embrace their past stuttering experiences as their identity as people who stutter?
