In re-reading what I wrote, I think it's important to mention something else: The State of Norway tries to make everyone's lives easier and happier, regardless of whether there is a disorder, disability, or special challenge. For example, "weekend parents" are provided to help any parent(s) who have a particular need for assistance; there are no college/university tuition costs; the national health system covers medical charges of all inpatient costs and most outpatient costs; there are very generous maternal and/or paternal leaves for parents of infants and young children; everyone is entitled to at least five weeks' vacation, often with "vacation money" to help them enjoy their time off and refresh themselves; and assistance is available to prevent anyone from being homeless and hungry. So the help that the State provides to people with disorders and disabilities/challenges should be seen as one part of this whole picture of a State concerned with making the lives of all its citizens and residents as happy and comfortable as possible.
