Thanks for your comments, Emily! In response to your first question, my scales vary by age, usually being more specific with the younger kiddos and more general with older folks. So they are usually individualized and specific to each client which then ensures that they will serve their purpose. Families also really appreciate the scales because it is a way for them to record their observations, and to be more concrete about what they are seeing/feeling/thinking.
