Hello Kelsey; the answer to your first question regarding the benefit for 'all' clients is this: mot likely. Of course, we always have clients that are 'not ready' and some that may not be 'able' to discuss beliefs ad feelings at deeper levels. However, it is a valid and important aspect of stuttering therapy. The answer to your second question is 'yes.' Depending upon where the child and family are in their journey into dealing with stuttering, I devote considerable time to the cognitive and affective aspects of stuttering.
