Hello Vince! I really enjoyed reading your article. I am finishing my last year in graduate school and have quite an interest in working with people who stutter. I try to be empathetic to everyone I meet and their situations, including my clients. One dilemma I am afraid I will encounter is the inability to be unrelatable because I do not stutter. How can I find a way to be relatable to my clients in a realistic way without looking like I feel bad for them or offending them? Do you have any tips for the new clinician working in the area of fluency?
