I enjoyed your article and sense of humor, it was very refreshing. I can relate to your experiances as someone who stutters. I have battled with stutterinng like is was a wild beast in the past and now have this beast contained, held at bay, but every now and then the the the cage rattles and I am reminded of the pain. I agree that an expert on stuttering is someone who stutters. Luckily, I am in graduate school to become an SLP and want to become a fluency specialist. What are you ideas concerning stuttering modification vs fluency shaping?
