You can find both opinions in international literature. While some authors found those methods used in developmental stuttering therapy, suitable for neurogenic stuttering therapy as well, others did not. Some authors suggest different methods including for example the use of a pacing board, relaxation techniques or medical treatment. However, one has to keep in mind, that there`s probably no one approach that can be used for all neurogenic stuttering clients.
