Hi Tiffany. “Sleep hygiene” means measures that promote good sleep. For example: sleeping the necessary hours per night, having a regular sleep schedule, taking care of your breathing, having a comfortable bedroom (pillow, mattress, temperature, noise), and so on. Please, see the section “What is a bad night of sleep? Sleep hygiene measures”. Introductory books on sleep neurology also talk about this subject. Sandra
