Thank you Lauryn for the nice comments and the wonderful questions. You worded it very well. YES, I think our confidence is seen by our world. I have had many people tell me that I am an inspiration, because I am comfortable enough to speak publicly often and stutter openly. I think people can tell that I am confident, even when I do have the occasional moments when I really wish I hadn't blocked. ~~~~~~~ I feel uncomfortable when people say I am inspirational, as I think I am just doing what I have to do, but I guess in the perspective that many people let their "perceived flaws" limit them, then I guess I can see why. I think secretly a lot of people wish they were confident enough to make them self vulnerable, for that is indeed what someone who stutters does every time we block or stutter. ~~~~~ I think confidence is valued enough that society can see it. Maybe sometimes people don't acknowledge it, as they may be jealous, but for the most part, I definitely think inner confidence exudes itself and people can tell. ~~~~~~ Thanks also for the feedback on the paper. I am surprised with how many people felt they could really relate to it, and happy that it is an analogy that even non-PWS can find relevant. Thanks again! ~Pam
