From Joy Lewis

I represented MLS in the 1959 spelling bee. A copy of the certificate and article are enclosed. I am in the second to last row, 3rd person from left. I didn't win the next level, but it was quite a thrill to participate. The photo in the paper also generated some weird phone calls to my house which was quickly quashed when my dad told the guy never to call again!
