Hello Amanda To answer your Question about Thomas Browns social difficulties. My knowledge of the latter generations of the Brown family is that although being of strict beliefs in those times, they would have been very kind and considerate people. Especially towards a person in their family with a disability. Actually you may have caught me out with this question, as I cannot see anyone on that side of the family who is anything like him at all. You now have me looking back at the family tree and seeing perhaps a Swedish connection a long way back. Are they eccentric types I don’t know? He is also a stepbrother to my grandfather. Perhaps his eccentricity and stuttering connection that still could have come from either side may have made him a little agitated when he mixed with the others, and further added to his condition. As you say it may be very beneficial to observe many more family trees. You would have already noted that although very detailed this particular family tree would not be a very average final example because of the combination.
Thank you for the excellent questions.
