At the recent NSA convention in Boston, a bunch of us took the subway downtown for dinner. Since my wife Harriet and I had done this before, we were leading the group. Coming back to the hotel, the subway cars were packed, and we all couldn't fit in one car. While some of us crowded into the first car, I tried to tell the rest of our group what stop to get off at. As the doors were closing, I couldn't get out the word, Leechmere station, and I tried to use one of my old tricks of tapping my finger on my face, but I just couldn't get the word out. When the rest of our group got off the next car, they were all tapping their face and laughing hysterically. I suspect the ring leader of this was Russ Hicks. A great memory of the Boston conference.
