Jules,

<<Now, my stuttering is mostly gone and getting lesser. What was my solution? As soon as I started to practice Tai Chi, Kung Fu, and doing meditations to heal the pain/anger/fear in my heart my stuttering started to go away. I have been tested under pressure and the stress does not effect my speech like it used to at all. Four years of Eastern methods has done more for me in many areas of my life then western psychology could hope to do in a life time. >>

You are not alone. A large percentage of the people I've met who have recovered, including Jack Menear, who's interview is found on this website under "Holistic approaches," have been experienced in one of the martial arts. This is undoubtedly because both the martial arts and stuttering must be looked at from the point of view of mind/body/spirit -- ie: they involve the whole spirit. Once you experience how they interconnect in Kung fu, for example, you begin to see the same connections in the experience of stuttering.

I appreciated your comments.

John
