What a shame that we didn't meet in Boston! (We are friends of Mario's too, by the way. Hi Mario!)It was Paul's old chapter that arranged the congress, something he had been waiting for for 15 years. When it finally happend, he had moved across the Atlantic! I attended the Speak Easy Symposium in New Jersey with Paul a week after I set eyes on him for the first time. By then we were already engaged. We hadn't had time to get the rings engraved, and they still aren't! Paul was very pleased with the wedding ritual here in Norway, he just had to say "ja" twice, something he finds relatively easy. Of course he didn't know any Norwegian after ten days in Norway, so he started nodding his head as soon as he heard his name (when I was asked if I took this man named Paul etc.)! When we on the following day had a small Jewish wedding ceremony he just had a tiny block, while I, unfamiliar with Hebrew, stumled over the words that was all gibberish to me.
