That is an amazing story. As a graduate student we have learned that self-esteem / self concept can be a variable part of stuttering, and can be an important component to therapy success. My question is according to your experiences, what would you suggest if a cient came to you, frustrated and wanting therapy, but did not show these great signs of self-esteem and self concept? I am guessing that the group therapy atmosphere can provide this quite well? Is something done in individual therapy that also provides this? Thank you for your time, it is greatly appreciated.
