Thank you very much for your comments and your enthusiasm. I’d be thrilled if all stutterers and nonstutterers read this article (that would encompass everybody, right?).

You’re right in suggesting that acceptance is the key. And based on the responses I’ve received, many others feel the same way. Given how stuttering develops into such an embarrassing condition for so many people, acceptance is extremely difficult. Fortunately, it is also possible.
