Boy howdy (that's a Texas phrase meaning YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT), I understand how hard it is to advertise your stuttering the first time! Yes, it get's easier with time, but that first time is a real killer. There are lots of stutterers who never get beyond that point, never really get up the nerve to do it that one time. But that's their choice. No one can force them to do it. THEY must decide FOR THEMSELVES to do it.
But I'm glad you got up the courage to do it! Now you need to keep doing it and keeping it in "balance" with everything else going on in your life. Life is not about stuttering. It's about the courage to live in all aspects of your life.
