I totally agree with advertising your stuttering. As a graduate clinician in speech pathology, I realize that it is important to address the point that stuttering is NOT a bad thing to do. I can also understand why it is difficult for PWS to not advertise: it's "an unnatural act." But, as Jim McClure points out in his article, advertising your stutter is good for two reasons. First, it's impossible to hide your stutter from everyone and secondly, to let others know that stuttering is not bad. The public needs to be "desensitized."
