I am honored to know you. We have shared some great discussions at NSA Conventions, and one of the things on my book shelf is a picture of you with a glass raised, and me with a beer in the air, in toast.
Those who have attended the SSMP, and your student, know you first hand. Those who have read your chapter in the SFA Advice Book know of you from reading what you have written. And now, ISAD folks can also get a glimps of who you are and what you think. -- even though they might have trouble pronouncing your last name.
Well, Dorv-- at least your students got it right. They spelled it correctly for the plaque. It is a shame that your last name is only 12 letter long. There is much more that could be said.
