Thank you for your message. When I took my first course in stuttering, fifty years ago, we did not have all the resourses available that you have now. I'm glad to see that you are taking advantage of the resourse of the On-line Conference. I assure you many of your colleagues are not. Both classical and operant conditioning was used on me during my therapy. I can assure you that stutterers you work with as a professisonal will care less about what kind of conditioning you use on them. They will care much more about your "caring" and are you there "24/7." As you have observed from my story, stuttering inpacts all aspects of our lives and as an effective SLP you need you will need to, figurativly, take some of the pain for a while to help the stutterer heal.
