Uh-oh, so I am one girl who is honored to be among those 15-20% percent of the female stutterers, I see. I would agree, from what I have seen - if I may give my comment on this - that boys DO get more stress than girls. Maybe we, the girls who stutter, aren't as connected to speaking as other, fluent girls are. I have spoken to many girls who stutter and we seemed to have one thing in common and that was that we couldn't STAND the jibberish talks without a substance that are meant to emotionally connect girls. I feel that even if I didn't stutter, I wouldn't have a word to say about the new Prada collection or Brad&Jen's future plans. I met only one girl who was like this and stutered - no, she stammered, spoke too fast so she would trip. I wonder what a study would show about this? I think we stutter because we're woven with too fine threads and we absorb every little signal from the outside and we have 10 times more antennas out than an average person... And our body chose to derive this into stuttering.
